The Marble Hairbrush is made from real marble and natural bristles, materials chosen not only for their beauty, but for the way they endure and evolve with use.

Like any object made from natural stone, it benefits from thoughtful care. With a few considered habits, the marble will retain its beauty, the bristles will remain clean, and the brush can continue to live beautifully within your daily ritual.

Handle with care

Marble carries weight, permanence, and presence, but it remains a natural stone.

The Marble Hairbrush should always be handled with care. A fall onto tile, stone, concrete, or another hard surface may chip, crack, or break the marble.

Place it gently on a stable surface, taking particular care around sinks, countertops, and hard bathroom floors.

For travel, the brush should be protected within both its linen pouch and original magnetic box.

After each use

Remove excess hair from the bristles after each use.

When setting the brush down, lay it flat with the bristles facing down. This simple habit helps prevent dust and debris from settling into the bristle bed over time.

Weekly care

Once a week, gently comb through the bristles from top to bottom with a comb or brush-cleaning tool.

Work through the full bristle bed to lift away loose hair, dust, and fine debris that may have collected between the bristles.

Finish by wiping the marble surrounding the bristle pad with a soft, dry cloth. This area naturally gathers fine dust and is best kept clear.

Monthly wash

Once a month, gently wash the bristles with a small amount of mild soap and water.

Clean carefully without soaking the brush or allowing excess water to settle deeply into the bristle pad.

Rinse gently, then press with a clean towel to remove as much moisture as possible.

Always allow the brush to dry lying flat with the bristles facing down. This encourages moisture to move away from the bristle bed rather than settle within it.

Never submerge or soak the brush.

The marble

Natural stone is meant to be lived with.

Wipe the marble with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry it promptly. Pay particular attention to the area surrounding the bristle pad, where dust, oils, and product residue may naturally collect.

Avoid any cleaning products when wiping the marble. Water is sufficient.

As with all natural materials, subtle changes in finish may develop with use over time. These variations are part of the character of the object.

Hair + products

The Marble Hairbrush may be used on damp hair, though it performs best on clean hair with minimal product buildup.

Hair oils, serums, leave-in treatments, dry shampoo, and styling products can transfer into the bristles and accumulate over time.

We recommend avoiding heavy use of dry shampoo or high-residue styling products immediately before brushing, as residue may settle within the bristle bed.

If product comes into contact with the marble, wipe it away promptly with a soft cloth.

Regular care will help preserve both the appearance and performance of the brush.
