Is the marble heavy?
The Marble Hairbrush has weight. That weight is part of the object. It is not heavier than a hardcover book. Most people find the weight pleasing, not tiring.
Will it crack if I drop it?
Marble is durable but not indestructible. The brush can survive everyday handling. A drop onto a hard surface from height may cause damage, as it would with any stone object. We recommend treating it as you would a piece of fine glassware.
Are the bristles gentle on hair?
Yes. The bristles are designed for daily use across hair types. They are firm enough to detangle, soft enough not to scratch the scalp.
Can it get wet?
Brief water contact is fine. Prolonged soaking is not recommended. Marble is a porous stone and will absorb moisture over time. Wipe dry after exposure.
How do I clean it?
A soft, damp cloth is sufficient for the marble. The bristles can be cleaned by rinsing under cool water and air drying with the bristles facing down. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasives.
What does "one of one" mean?
Each piece is hand-carved from a unique block of Calacatta Viola. The veining in the marble is unrepeatable. No two brushes are the same. Yours is yours alone.
Will there be more after the first batch?
Yes. Future batches will be produced in limited quantity. Each batch is announced first to the waitlist. Quantities and timing are not guaranteed. Reserve from the first batch.
When does the first batch ship?
The first batch is in production. Waitlist subscribers will be notified when it is ready and receive early access to reserve.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is complimentary on every order within the United States.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at checkout. If you would like to place an order from outside the United States, write to hello@mrblgoods.com. We will arrange shipping individually and quote any duties or carrier fees in advance.
What is the return policy?
All sales are final. Each piece is hand-carved and one of one. We do not accept returns or exchanges. Pieces damaged in transit are covered fully. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs.
